Our Spring 2014 Book Fair was a great success!  Students participated in a school wide reading contest.  If the reading minutes goal was met, teachers and staff agreed to dance the Macarena!  Check out this video of Southeast staff doing the Macarena joined by all the Southeast students.

Fall 2013 Book Fair — September 2013

Southeast School’s fall book fair had the the theme of “Reading Oasis:  A Cool place to discover Hot Books.”  We had a great fair, and we purchased many new books for our school library.   Additionally, the Change War brought in $1093 to buy books for our teachers’ classrooms.  Mrs. Jacob’s kindergarten class raised the most money–bringing in over $188.  They won the opportunity to wrap three great volunteers into mummies!  Thanks to our principal Mr. Ekstrom, our custodian Mr. Barber, and our technology teacher Mr. Choragwicki!  Thank you so much to all our students, parents, volunteers and teachers that made this event a success!
