Spring Break! No School!

Yearbook Orders are due NOW!
As a final reminder, all yearbook orders must be turned in by this Thursday, March 18 - no exceptions. There is usually a grace period but unfortunately that is not the case this year due to spring break. We will be turning in the orders on Friday. This includes online orders as well.
On March 17 & 18, the District will be handing out 14 day food boxes at the High School (at door E3) for meals through Spring Break. On March 15 and 16, we will continue to give out the 2 day food bags at the elementary schools for the Hy-brid program, but no 3-day bag will be distributed for the remaining days of that week. Hybrid families will need to pick up 14 day boxes starting March 17th just as the remote families do. We will resume Hy-brid bag distribution on Wednesday March 31st and Thursday April 1st along with the 7 day Remote bags as well.
Coats Still Needed
Just a reminder that we will continue to go outside for recess each day that it is above zero degrees. Students need to remember to bring their winter coats, snow pants, boots, gloves and hats. Also, as the weather gets warmer, jackets are still needed. Students are not allowed to go outside without a jacket unless the temperature is 60 degrees or higher.
Info for Families Traveling over Spring Break
If you are traveling within the United States there are currently no quarantine or testing requirements. The following ONLY applies if you are leaving the country.
The district is following CDC/IDPH/DCHD recommendations for international travel
Follow the link below to be directed to the CDC guidance for testing and quarantine after traveling. If you type your destination country in the search bar or click on the country on the world map you will be directed to country-specific guidance based on your travel destination risk.
CDC Guidance for Testing and Quarantine
Information we will need prior to your child(ren) returning to in-person learning includes:
- Which country you traveled to
- The date you returned to the United States
- Completion of CDC requirements post travel
Travel to most destinations will have similar requirements including varying lengths of quarantine and testing options. Until requirements have been met, and your student has been cleared by the school nurse, your children should quarantine at home and participate in remote learning.
Please feel free to reach out to your school nurse if you have any questions.
